September...support Intentional Woman Seminar

Instead of having our September Mug and Muffin....Barbara and I are asking ALL Mug and Muffin to support and attend "The Intentional Woman" seminar on Friday and Saturday, September 18th and 19th. We are very much involved in this WM event and with Mug and Muffin only being the week before, we felt it would be best to support that as a whole group this month. Please plan on attending. The cost is only $15 and you get incredible teaching, fellowship with friends, make new friends, and a good wholesome lunch on Saturday. Barbara and I look forward to seeing you there!

Please contact the ladies you know, who normally attend Mug and Muffin, that do not use email.

We will give you more info regarding the October Mug and Muffin as we finalize the details. Again...look forward to seeing you at The Intentional Woman seminar.

See you in September!

With summer here and vacations on everyone's mind, Mug and Muffin will take the summer off as well. We will start up again in September with a new zest for the fall and the holidays ahead. So see you in September!

Mug and Muffin

Mug and Muffin is designed to:
Build stronger relationships with each other and with God

Share recipes, ideas and all kinds of "girl stuff"
Each month we will have a different speaker give a short devotional.

Won't you come join us? It is for women of all ages. The older women can relate to the struggles and triumphs of the young wives and mothers. The young wives and mothers can gain wisdom from those who have traveled the road before them. It is truly a gathering for every woman. You will be welcomed, you will feel loved, you will laugh, you may even cry...but one thing is for sure...you will want to come again and again. Hope you see you there!

Our next Mug and Muffin is Friday, May 8th beginning with breakfast at 9:30 a.m. at Gayle Joslin's home.

Is Rise and Shine for you?

Rise and Shine is designed for the working women who would like the fellowship and prayers of other women. We are meeting
the 2nd Saturday each month to share breakfast, the word, and friendship. If you are looking for a group of women who do not have time but still want the fellowship and support then this is your group. We meet at 8:30 and on our way to our home and families by 10:30. It is a great time to squeeze some girl time in and still be able to have the rest of the day to do the other important things.

April Mug and Muffin Cancelled

For the month of April, Mug and Muffin will fall on Good Friday, April 10th. We will be cancelling Mug and Muffin for April since many families will be going out of town or have company coming from out of town. But we will be anxious to see you again in May!!

Mug and Muffin Continues to Shine

Our next meeting for Mug and Muffin is Friday, March 13th at the home of Barbara Crowell. This continues to be a great time of fellowship. Breakfast is served followed by a time of fellowship then each time a devotion is given by one of the women. This is one of our steadiest groups, and one that is loved and looked forward to by each of the women. You'll always enjoy this morning so put it on your calendar!

Rise and Shine is our Saturday edition of Mug and Muffin. It is for all ladies to attend but this special time is for those ladies who are not able to attend the Friday morning meeting. This month Rise and Shine will meet at the home of Shirley Kleinhans on Saturday, March 14th at 8:30 until 10:30AM. It will be a time of breakfast, fellowship and prayer.
